FULL MOON NIGHT HIKE
Bring the family for a night of fun and enjoy a beautiful full moon Everything changes after dark – trails look different, trees look different and the lake becomes more beautiful. Experience Jordan Lake in a whole new light – the full moon. From our site, it is a short hike to the water’s edge on a lighted trail. Along the trail your family will learn fun facts about the woodland animals that live around the lake. We will also have a storytime around a campfire as well as a crafts and some treats.Who can participate? Everyone! We encourage all ages to come enjoy the evening. The crafts are geared more for children up to age 12, but the storytime, fun facts and fellowship knows no age limits.
$10/person, children under 12 are free. Although we will have the trail lighted, flashlights would be a good idea too. Don’t forget bug spray! Please note: Sorry, Full Moon Walks are not suitable for pets. Rain or cloudy skies cancel.

Pre-K NATURE CAMP
Pre-K children ages 3- 5 will be exploring outdoors. They will participate in experiential activities that will inspire curiosity and cultivate a sense of stewardship for nature!
Children will participate in outdoor activities, play cooperative games, and create art.
Some sample activities are making life sized tree paintings, observing and creating bird nests using only natural materials, making bird feeders, going on a “shapes” walk in nature, examining pelts and skulls of animals, playing with animal figures and creating a story about them, looking for signs of wildlife on our walk and pretending to be different animals.
